The foundation that unites sport and sustainability goes public with its mission and main objective: a world without single-use plastics.
On Thursday, December 10th, Kick Out Plastic will be unveiled, in an online press conference via Zoom. The event will be attended by Lars Böcking, President of Kick Out Plastic; Honorary President, former football player and 2008 European champion Marcos Senna; and four Kick Out Plastic Ambassadors including Ferran Torres, Pedri González, Omar Mascarell and Ivana Andrés.
The players from Manchester City, FC Barcelona and Schalke 04, together with the captain of Real Madrid Women’s team, will explain why they got involved with this pioneering initiative and their commitment to sustainability through the vehicle of sport. Other football players from the Leaderbrock Sports football agency – which, together with Jacaranda Marketing make up the founding partners of Kick Out Plastic – will also actively participate in the project; as well as a range of other athletes, influencers and celebrities from around the world.
Kick Out Plastic aims to harness the power of sport to create greater awareness in society and bring about systemic change so that future generations can enjoy a better world and a sustainable future.
